Heather Forthofer RN, PACU



I was born and raised in SE Wisconsin, and moved to Washington in 2006. After working as an EMT for 10 years, I went on to Nursing School, graduating in 2011. Prior to joining the team at Northwest Weight Loss Surgery in 2014, I worked as an RN in both the ICU and the ER. I am also a trained Forensic Nurse Examiner and hope to gain my Bariatric Nursing certification this year. I truly enjoy my job here at NWWLS. The staff here is wonderful to work with and I couldn't ask to be part of a better team. But to me, the best part is that I actually get to spend quality time with my patients and get to know them and their families. I love to hear their stories and help them begin the next chapter of their lives.  

I am married, with 2 grown sons and 2 young grandchildren. I spend my free time, and my "not so free" time tending to our small farm. We breed pigs, and raise chickens and turkeys. We also have a miniature donkey and a miniature mule.
